On Wednesday, producer Ryan Murphy released an 18-minute video in which 49 celebrities gave tribute to the 49 lives lost during the mass shooting at a gay night club in Orlando.
"For too long, a toxic combination of anti-LGBTQ hate and easy access to guns has put LGBTQ people at disproportionate risk of violence and murder," the Human Rights Campaign website reads. "Now, the tragic killing of 49 innocent people on Latin Night at Pulse nightclub in Orlando — young lives taken solely because of who they were — has rocked our nation to its core."
Celebrities include Lady Gaga, Jane Fonda, Chaz Bono and more. The video was directed by Emmy Award-winning Murphy and Ned Martel.
