Sweet Davie (ID 582811) is an amazing bunny, who is curious, sweet and doesn’t mind being picked up.  At 5 ½ pounds and just a year old, Davie wants to hop into your heart and home.  He and nine other rabbits where brought to the Humane Society of Broward County from Collier County Animal Services in Naples after hurricane Irma.  The shelter there was without power and water, and the staff wanted to make the animals as comfortable as possible so the brought them to the HSBC for adoption.

Gonzo (ID 583168) is looking for a place to spend his golden years, can you make his wish come true?  This handsome tiger stripped fellow was brought to the Humane Society of Broward County from a vet hospital after hurricane Irma. At 16 years young, Gonzo appears to be in great shape and is very sweet.  He is front declawed and 16 pounds of love!  Can Gonzo retire to your home?

 
When you adopt from the Humane Society of Broward County the dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive preliminary vaccinations, cats are feline leukemia tested, and dogs over 7 months are tested for heartworm.  They also receive a flea/tick preventative, a 10-day limited health care plan from VCA Animal Hospitals, 30 days of Trupanion Pet Insurance and a bag of Purina ONE pet food.  The adoption fee for felines over six months is $30 and rabbits are $50.  The HSBC opens daily at 10:30 and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95.  For more details call 954-989-3977 ext. 6.  To see who else is looking for a home visit www.humanebroward.com
