From inspiring apparel to sex toys and room decor, Feminist Goods Co. has all the supplies every feminist needs.

Founder Lauren Harbury created the business after tapping into her creative intuition.

“Prior to starting Feminist Goods Co. I wrote for a variety of publications and always found myself writing about women's rights and how to build a life that you truly love to live — so I combined my love of words and my creative side to found Feminist Goods Co,” she said.

The company offers novelty items such as a $32 Booty Candle which comes in white, tan, and brown, a Dogs Against Cat Calling collar, and all sorts of stickers relating to feminism.

Customers can also browse through a wide variety of apparel such as their best-selling Girl Gang Forever t-shirt.

Harbury, who identifies as queer, was able to include LGBT-inspired products in her shop as well, such as the Love is for Everyone collection which includes a hatt-shirt, and printed poster.

With so many products to choose from, deciding a favorite item in her shop is an impossible task for Harbury.

“I don't have a favorite, but one product that I have heard a lot of wonderful feedback about this year is my Resilient hat,” she said.

Feedback is a huge part of maintaining Harbury’s business.

“[I want] to continue to serve my customers and community by creating safe spaces and inspiring products that meet their needs,” she said.

Feminist Goods Co. is a hit on social media with over 7,800 followers on Instagram. The company has also been featured in BuzzFeed, Teen Vogue, and Refinery 29.

Though the attention the business has received is welcome, Harbury is only focused on a few important things: inspiring and encouraging her customers through her products, donating to charities, and remaining sustainable.

“I donate a portion of proceeds to a non-profit or charity monthly. These organizations are submitted, voted on and selected by you, our community, on Instagram Stories and via email each month,” she said.

As for sustainability, Harbury makes efforts to keep her business as eco-friendly as possible.

“I use as many recycled or recyclable packaging products as possible. Biodegradable packing peanuts are a must. Packing paper that can be recycled or reused by you for gifting. Boxes that can go straight in the recycling as well,” she said.
