Pets: Milo

Milo Via Humane Society

Marvelous Milo (ID 384740) hopes you have room in your heart and home for him. At nine years young, and 71 pounds this fellow has a lot of competition with all the younger dogs. Sadly he was given up because his owner lost their home and had nowhere to go with him.

Milo’s owner only had wonderful things to say about him. He is good with kids ages six and up and he gets along with other dogs and cats. This big guy is easy going and loves to hang out with his people, however he is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks and may try and hide under a bed. Can Milo be part of your family?

Two year old Silvia (ID 613043) came from an overcrowded shelter and is hoping her luck will change at the HSBC. This gal is currently residing in one of the community cat rooms and gets along fine with the other kitties. She loves to be brushed and pet, especially on her chin, and may even curl up in your lap for some snuggles. Stop by to meet Silvia and all the other fabulous felines and you might just fall in love.

To meet Milo, Silvia or any of the other pets, please stop by the Humane Society of Broward County. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I95 and opens daily at 10:30. Call 954-989-3977 ext. 6 for details or visit www.humanebroward.com
