Wedding crashers are always an unwelcome nuisance to any couple's special day. But for one gay couple in Dallas last week, they were more than happy to find another place setting.

On Wednesday July 7, as part of W Hotels and the Human Rights Campaigns' "Turn It Up For A Change" marriage equality initiative, Academy Award-winning singer/actress Jennifer Hudson "crashed" one of Dallas' first same-sex weddings.

As the grooms Chris and Scott Lindsey stood at the altar after taking their vows at W DallasVictory, they were shown a video that Hudson pre-taped congratulating them on their big day. But surprise!! The curtain dropped and the singer appeared, clad in a short Balmain dress, to serenade them with her song "I Still Love You, from her latest album, "JHUD." The wedding guests and the grooms all got on their feet to sing and dance along.

W began planning the surprise bash just weeks ago, after the landmark Supreme Court ruling on June 26 that made same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states. The night was an emotional evening for all included, especially the grooms, who have been together for 14 years and have four children.
