(EDGE) The initial Internet reaction to Logo's "The Bachelor"-style gay dating show "Finding Prince Charming" would be described as lukewarm at best. But recent developments may prove the upcoming reality show could be somewhat interesting, and eye-opening to some viewers, depending on how Logo unfolds the topics.

Just days after the apparent Rentboy.com profile and nudes of the prince charming in question, Robert Sepulveda Jr., surfaced online, TMZ is reporting one of the 13 suitors vying for the 33-year-old interior designer's affection will come out as HIV-positive on the show.

Producers were aware of the contestant's status but did not reveal anything to the rest of the cast, according to TMZ. Sepulveda Jr. was reportedly told during taping and TMZ writes, "the reveal will become a focal point. Our sources tell us producers think the show will resonate with straight and gay viewers, and educate the audience."

TMZ adds the reveal with the suitor, who is not identified, was emotional and Sepulveda Jr. was supportive.

"Finding Prince Charming" airs its 90-minute premier on Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. on Logo.
