Recording artist Lily Allen, who surged in popularity among LGBT persons after the release of her song “F*ck You” was widely circulated on the internet, has had a miscarriage and wants to grieve in privacy. She is reportedly in a committed relationship with Sam Cooper, who is a painter and designer.  According to a publicist, the loss of her expected child is a “great sadness” and this is a “deeply distressing time” for the couple.

Allen’s song became a web sensation when a YouTube video of Manchester’s Gay Pride celebration featured patrons singing “F*ck You”, karaoke-style to their antagonists:  closed-minded people who prefer to support war instead of equality.
