It should – or should not – surprise you that Dr. Laura, who recently took her First Amendment rights very seriously when she dropped the “N-bomb” more than 10 times on her nationally syndicated radio show, has received support from former Governor Sarah “Drill-Baby-Drill, Pitbull-With-Lipstick” Palin.

Soon after Dr. Laura’s regrettable usage of the word on air Sarah Palin reached out by way of Twitter. The below is a direct quote from her Twitter account, please pardon Palin’s sense of style as she was limited to less than 150 characters.

“Dr.Laura:don't retreat...reload! (Steps aside bc her 1st Amend.rights ceased 2exist thx 2activists trying 2silence"isn't American,not fair")

Palin’s advice of “don’t retreat…reload!” is perhaps an unfortunate choice of words.

Given that Dr. Laura has some very strong feelings about the First Amendment. Therefore, it is interesting that she has chosen to cite it now even though she once claimed it was not a sacred right, nor a “get out of jail free card” a la Monopoly.

“The First Amendment is not the Eleventh Commandment. Its protection does not extend to ALL speech.”

Given the fact that both Palin and Dr. Laura will both be looking for a new position – Dr. Laura will not renew her contract when it expires later this year, Palin left the governor’s mansion in Alaska – might we suggest a reality show starring the two women? Dr. Laura can offend whoever she wants, and Palin – who definitely has a gun license – can “reload” and take aim at any unwelcome persons or opinions.
