The 67th Golden Globe Awards was held last night at The Beverly Hilton. The annual award show, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, was hosted by Ricky Gervais, who cracked up the crowd with intros like, "I like a drink as much as the next man.   Except when it's Mel Gibson!", who presented for Best Director Motion Picture. Martin Scorsese was presented with the Cecile B. Demille Award for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. Robert Downey Jr., winner for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama gave a hilarious acceptance speech, beginning by blaming his wife for not having anything prepared, as she told him, "Matt Damon was going to win so don't bother."
