From ABC's 'One Life to Live'

UPDATE: 12/13/12, 3:26PM TMZ reports that Scott Evans has been "charged with trying to buy cocaine off an undercover police officer ... a felony."

Scott Evans, an openly gay soap opera actor and brother of Captain America actor Chris Evans, was arrested for trying to buy drugs from an undercover police officer.

According to TMZ, Evans was busted on Dec. 4 late in the afternoon in Los Angeles for attempt to possess a controlled substance.  He was out on $10,000 bail that same night at 12:30 a.m.

The celebrity gossip site says Evans posted a comment on his Facebook page about the arrest: “Most ridiculous night of my life in LA so far. At least I made it a year before getting arrested,” he wrote.

The 29-year-old soap opera actor is best known for playing Officer Oliver Fish on ABC's “One Life To Live.” He has also had small roles on Guiding Light, Fringe, and White Collar.

Out Magazine writes that Chris Evans outed his gay brother during an interview with The Advocate in 2009.

It’s unknown what drugs he tried to buy. On this, Out Magazine writes: “We're unsure what sort of drug he was allegedly attempting to buy from the undercover cop, but we assume it must have been something more fun than a bag of pot.”

Ironically, Scott Evans was currently filming the movie “Behaving Badly,” starring Selena Gomez, the New York Daily News reports.
