Two of John Travolta’s pet dogs were killed last Thursday in a freak accident at a Maine airport. After a jet carrying members of the Travolta family landed at Bangor International Airport, the dogs were taken for a walk on the tarmac by “someone who is not a member of the family,” according to Bangor city officials. It seems the dogs were killed as a service pickup truck was approaching the airplane. The driver did not see the dogs. The airport and the city of Bangor are investigating the accident. Oddly enough, the assistant who was walking the dogs was unharmed. Paul Bloch, a publicist for Travolta, said Monday that he was unaware of any accident regarding the dogs, but that he would look into it.
