Model and actor Cara Delevingne took issue with Coachella Music Festival’s founder this weekend.
Delevingne disapproved of Philip Anschutz, a billionaire who funds the Coachella Music Festival, according to PinkNews. The billionaire owns Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), which was found to donate to anti-LGBT groups Alliance Defending Freedom and Family Research Council.
In an Instagram post that confused fans familiar with the #nochella hashtag, Delevingne spoke about Beyonce’s performance at the festival on Sunday.
“I am speechless,” Delevingne posted about Beyonce. “That performance made me burst into tears and sent shivers down my spine. Especially the Destiny’s child reunion.”
I am speechless. That performance made me burst into tears and sent shivers down my spine. Especially the Destiny’s child reunion. ICONIC is an understatement. Thank you for inspiring so many and for lifting each other up. #GirlPower @michellewilliams @beyonce @kellyrowland

Fans criticized her for supporting the performance, to which she responded to them in an Instagram story. Delevingne stated she was both able to disregard the festival while still admiring an artist’s performance without attending.
“I am able to shame that man and the festival and show my appreciation of an artist at the same time,” she wrote. “Just because I love Beyoncé doesn’t mean I now love Coachella. I still wouldn’t go.”
According to the investigation by the Washington Post into his donations to anti-LGBT groups, Anschultz donated a total of $190,000 to three separate groups from 2010 to 2013. Anschutz donated $1 million to the Elton John AIDS Foundation earlier this year, according to PinkNews.
