A new actress is hailing the pink, purple and blue flag.

Shannon Purser, the actress who plays Barb on Netflix original show “Stranger Things,” has come out as bisexual.

“I don’t normally do this, but I figure now is as good a time as any to get personal,” she began in a screenshot submitted to Twitter. “I’ve only just recently come out as bisexual to my family and friends. It’s something I am still processing and trying to understand and I don’t like talking about it too much. I’m very very new to the LGBT community.”

This confession followed she left a series of tweets encouraging fans to be patient in figuring out their sexual identities.

“Getting comfortable with your sexuality is a process. It's going to be ok. I wish I'd known that sooner,” she wrote in one tweet. “Another thing I wish I'd known about sexuality is to take it slow. It can define you as much as you want it to,” she said in another.

Purser told her fans that they are going to be OK, and that they will be great.

“All that to say, you’re not alone. You’re in my prayers and, if you’re the praying kind, please keep me in yours.”
