South Florida audiences will be treated to an expanded line-up of iconic comedians, drag legends, high-flying aerialists and cabaret performers when the Outlandish performance series returns this winter to Fort Lauderdale’s Sunshine Cathedral.

"We have the best series yet," said producer Matt Farber, founder of Logo TV. "We're welcoming Fran Drescher, who is making her Fort Lauderdale debut, and the always hilarious Leslie Jordan. We also have two totally new and different acts, the AirOTic circus team and the Lee Squared cabaret duo. It’s going to be a very special season.”

The series opens on Saturday, Jan. 5 with drag icon Varla Jean Merman presenting her brand new, circus-themed show, “Under a Big Top,” followed by television and movie star Jordan (“Sordid Lives,” “Will & Grace”) on Jan. 19, and actress and activist Drescher (“The Nanny”) on Jan. 26. In “Schmoozing with Fran Drescher,” the actress will share poignant and hilarious stories from her life and career—all in her unique voice.

Comedian Pam Ann, the outrageous Australian “trolly dolly,” returns to Fort Lauderdale on Feb. 9 in “Flight Attendant Star,” before an extended appearance by the sexy cirque troupe AirOTic, Feb. 14 - 16 and 23 - 24. Farber is having special portable scaffolding constructed to allow the aerialists to execute their high-flying act in the Sunshine Cathedral sanctuary.

Next up are Miss Richfield 1981, who will attempt to find non-binary answers for an increasingly complex world in her new show, “Gender Fluids,” on March 9, and a retrospective show, “Have You Heard?” from drag icon Coco Peru on March 23.

“We’re very fortunate to welcome back Miss Richfield and Coco Peru once again,” said Farber, who said both performers always look forward to the enthusiastic responses they receive from Fort Lauderdale fans. Both are returning for their third consecutive years.

Outlandish 2019 concludes on April 6 with the award-winning cabaret duo Lee Squared in "An Evening with Liberace & Miss Peggy Lee." In this funny and touching tribute to Liberace and Lee, New York City Bistro and MAC Award-winners David Maiocco and Chuck Sweeney reprise their iconic performances as two musicians who defined four decades of pop culture.

Subscription packages are now on sale. In addition to a discounted eight-show season package, options also include the four-show "Drag Superstar Pass" (Merman, Ann, Richfield and Peru) and "Drag-Free Pass" (Jordan, Drescher, AirOTic, Lee Squared).

Last year’s series sold out and Farber encouraged fans to purchase subscription packages to ensure the best seats, especially for the Drescher and Jordan appearances.

Tickets for individual performances start at $30 each and go on sale Dec. 1. All performances take place at the Sunshine Cathedral, 1480 S.W. 9thAve. in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets and more information at
