Jugglers. Clowns. Aerial feats. You guessed it – the circus is in town.

Circus Lena opens today with live human shows near The Galleria mall in Fort Lauderdale.

“My wife Jessica and I invested five years of savings to start our own little show,” said Leonardo Gonzalez, co-founder of Circus Lena, in a press release. “With a contract to inaugurate our dream business at The Miami-Dade County Fair, we found ourselves stranded when the pandemic hit.”

Circus Lena specializes in traditional circus performances.

Despite going through hard times, the family is determined to bring back the entertainment and reopen the circus.

Recently named the Top 10 List of Things to do in SouthWest Florida, Circus Lena, which is a part of Red Nose Entertainment Corp., will present shows Monday - Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday with two shows at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. There are no shows on Tuesdays. Adults are $25 while children ages 3-15 are $15. VIP pods for four people are $120. The shows run through June 6. In the press release they assured potential event-goers they will adhere to the latest CDC guidelines.
