However, once he gets to know you - he'll be your favorite snuggle buddy. DJ likes people of all ages and even dogs (he has never lived with cats). One of his favorite activities is to sit on the window sill and watch the birds fly. DJ is front-declawed.

    After having a home for four years, Odd Ball (573262) now finds himself homeless because his family had no time for him.  This fellow is a 50-pound Labrador retriever mix who gets along with other dogs, cats and people of all ages.  Because his family did not spend a lot of time with him, Odd Ball would benefit from going to doggie school.  The shelter dog trainers say he is very sweet and would be a wonderful companion.

    Calling all BIG dog lovers… Onyx (ID 571138) is waiting to meet you. This fellow is a four-year-old, 102-pound Great Dane mix who gets along with other pets and kids ages five and up.  Onyx is super sweet and loves to be with people.  He also likes to get comfy on the couch, especially when you’re not home. Onyx doesn’t realize how big he actually is, and could benefit from going to obedience classes.

    Briar (ID 590130) and Peaches (ID 590131) are looking for a home where they can stay together, can you make their wish come true?  Briar is a five-year young shepherd mix and his BFF is Peaches, a two year American Staffordshire terrier mix and this duo are at the shelter because their owner died and no one in the family could take the pair in.  This duo love to go for walks and play with each other.  They will do best in an active home, where they can be showered with TLC.  Can you make their wish come true?

    Fun-loving Rose (ID 591451) is a two year old, 37 pound, Basset Hound mix with short legs and a big loving personality. Rose enjoys going for walks, meeting new people and going for car rides. She also likes to snuggle. Rose came to the Humane Society of Broward County from another shelter, so we are not sure why her family gave her up. What we do know is she will make one family very happy.

    Thinking about getting a bunny?  Well hop on over to the Humane Society of Broward County because there are several to choose from including eight month old Clover (ID 591756).  This fellow was purchased from a pet store, but the landlord said no pets and since he wasn’t returnable, Clover now finds himself in search of another home.  This fellow is sweet, curious and is good with people of all ages.  Can he be your BFF?

This beauty is a transfer from another shelter, so her past is a bit of mystery, but we do know she enjoys being with people and will be a loyal and devoted companion to the family that adopts her.

    Sabrina (ID 588505) came to us in January from a shelter in Puerto Rico. While her previous life is a bit of a mystery, the staff and volunteers know that the fastest way to this girl’s heart is through belly rubs!  She simply cannot get enough belly rubs – she wiggles, shakes, and makes the cutest faces!
