With live music, fresh specials, and an extra-long Happy Hour, every night at QBar Burgers and Blues in Fort Lauderdale is a great night.

Every day, the restaurant that’s less than a year old features blue point oysters and if you come in on Monday or Wednesday, you’ll get them for $1.50 each. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, grab the sweet Thai and garlic wings special: $5 for 6 wings that are tossed in a sweet chili sauce.

A fan favorite is the meat and cheese charcuterie plate, which changes constantly, depending on the availability of the best ingredients. Sometimes it will feature cheddar, brie, and imported soft parmesan, prosciutto, and chicken liver pâté. Grab a small plate for $12 or a large for $20.

The Happy Hour is actually many happy hours, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. you can get $4 draft and bottle beers, $4 well drinks, and $5 house wines. With more than two dozen specialty beers on tap and many of them constantly rotating, try something you’ve never heard of. Most of the options are locally made in Florida. Some guest favorites are already the Radenberger Pilsner, Victory Dirtwolf, and Duvel Single. And they’re one of the few restaurants offering a wine on tap—try the Franciscan Chardonnay.

Looking for dinner? Go straight for a burger. The most popular is The King: a ½-pound burger that’s a mix of angus, sirloin and ground chuck, topped with duck bacon and cheddar cheese for $12. Add a sunny-side up egg for a $1.

If you’re not in the mood for a burger, try the Cajun pasta: shrimp, chicken, sausage over a Cajun cream sauce pasta for $16. The jambalaya is also a great choice: smoked Andouille sausage, chicken, shrimp and vegetables served with rice from $16.

Don’t forget about lunch, where you can get a burger, fries, and soda for $10.50. And be sure to save room for dessert, where you can get a warm chocolate banana bread pudding, drizzled with a rum caramel sauce and served with vanilla ice cream for $8.

The great bonus is the awesome live music every night — not just on weekends! Enjoy local and national bands with unique covers and original music including jazz, blues, and oldies. With awesome music, fresh food and a fantastic beer selection, QBar will be the only place you need to go tonight.
