The eighth annual Rumors Bar & Grill Taste of the Island will take place on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm! Join us at Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve located at 1937 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, for an evening of great food, wine tasting sponsored by Wilton Discount Liquors, great drinks, music and a silent auction! Proceeds will benefit the Wilton Manors Historical Society, Wilton Manors Development Alliance, Wilton Manors Leisure Services Department and the Wilton Manors Kiwanis Club. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will benefit the Friends of Library.
Last year’s event featured over 40 restaurants and beverage vendors and an additional 10 wine tasting stations. Advance tickets are available October 1 for $30.00 at Wilton Manors City Hall, Hagen Park, the Richard C. Sullivan Public Library of Wilton Manors, Wilton Manors Development Alliance office and both Barton and Miller Cleaners locations. All locations are cash only, please.
