Wilton Manors HIV/AIDS Organization Welcomes New Leader
WILTON MANORS, FL (May 24, 2013) – Nathan Earl, a marketing and communications professional, has been appointed as Director of Development at Poverello, which provides life-saving food and basic living essentials to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Broward County. The announcement was made by Tom Smith, executive director of Poverello.
“Nathan will play an important role at Poverello as we continue to be a vital HIV/AIDS service organization serving thousands in need for over 25 years,” said Smith. “With his experience and enthusiasm, we will invigorate our fundraising and marketing efforts to ensure our future as a caring provider of food, basic living essentials and case management.”
In his new role, Earl will be responsible for all fundraising efforts, including the Poverello Bowl-A-Thon, which has become an annual tradition. In addition, he will serve as the community liaison, pursue local and national sponsors, coordinate community outreach efforts, oversee grant development and manage marketing and advertising opportunities.
Previously, he served as director of marketing and new business development at Infinite World Studios where he directed the company’s communications and public relations strategies. His professional experience also includes serving as CEO and founder of Xenio Communications, as well as marketing manager for Covenant Senior Resources Geriatric Care Management in Bradenton, Florida.
Earl is very active in the community as a volunteer on worthy projects such as the Giving Thanks & Giving Program, as well as volunteered for The Amazing Race South Florida, Florida AIDS Walk, American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Circle K International. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Marketing at Florida International University.
