LGBT Ally Dies in WPB
Longtime West Palm Beach Commissioner and LGBT advocate, Bill Moss, 67, died last week, two weeks after winning a tough re-election campaign.
“Commissioner Moss was a strong advocate for the GLBT community in our community and put his words into action,” said supporter Rick Rose, co-owner of Grandview Gardens in West Palm Beach. “West Palm Beach was one of the first cities to offer a domestic partner registry for same sex couples AND offer benefits for same sex partners of city employees. Commissioner Moss was one of the main supporters of these initiatives.”
