Chicago Judge from Lesbian Adoption Controversy Resigns
Circuit Court Judge Susan McDunn, whose handling of two lesbian adoption cases in the late '90s sparked public outcry, has resigned from her position, according to the Office of the Chief Judge Hon. Timothy Evans.

McDunn’s resignation comes after reports that had she appeared in federal court claiming that secret lawsuits had been filed in her name against powerful people in an attempt to destroy her.
In response to a Sun-Times report about McDunn’s court appearances, the Chief Judge’s office release a statement noting that McDunn had been suspended months prior.
