British actress Angela Lansbury, best known for her role in the television show “Murder, She Wrote,” recently said in an interview that men have become so addicted to sex that women are as consequence turning into lesbians.

British actress Angela Lansbury, best known for her role in the television show “Murder, She Wrote,” recently said in an interview that men have become so addicted to sex that women are as consequence turning into lesbians.

“Women are now suffering for the lack of enough men to go around,” the 87-year-old told the U.K.’s Daily Mail. “Many women have given up. In many cases I think women prefer to have a relationship with a woman.”

According to Lansbury, men who want to get married about becoming a rarity; the problem? Most men today are obsessed with sex.

“Unfortunately, what goes on in bed has come to be considered all-important, but that really isn’t the most important thing in a relationship, ultimately,” she said.

She added citing as reference her late husband actor Peter Shaw, whom she was married to for 54 until his death in 2003: “It’s not the thing that’s going to support a marriage necessarily through 40 or 50 years.”

Besides becoming an iconic house name in television, Lansbury won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1963 film “The Manchurian Candidate.” Sergio N. Candido
