CHICAGO (AP) _ Illinois is adding a section for gay travelers to its tourism web site.
Gov. Pat Quinn announced the launch of ``Pride Illinois'' on Saturday.
The section will list gay-owned or gay-friendly accommodations, events and travel destinations, among other things.
Quinn says the site will allow the state to meet the needs of LGBT travelers and support Illinois' growing tourism industry.
The governor signed legislation in January 2011 granting same-sex couples the same legal rights as married couples. Illinois is the sixth state to allow civil unions.
