The star of Logo’s gay bachelor reality series ‘Finding Prince Charming’ has come out as a former escort.
Leading man Robert Sepulveda Jr. revealed his past to The Huffington Post. Although he was a male escort on former sexual social networking site RentBoy.com a decade ago, he encourages his viewers and fans to look toward the present.
“The past is the past,” he said. “I was young and it helped through college. But what I want people to focus on is who I am today as an entrepreneur, as an activist. I started a non-profit and, you know, focusing on the show. That’s really what I want people to focus on.”
The series made news recently as show’s host Lance Bass confirmed that one of the thirteen contestants is HIV Positive. Sepulveda Jr. does not seem to mind, and instead offered a life lesson in an interview with Us Weekly.
“I think that a real Prince Charming is someone who has life experience in all aspects of life, that isn’t afraid of someone with HIV or someone who doesn’t care what you’ve done in your past.”
