Ok queens (and lesbians—how you doin?), I’ve decided I have too many friends who are very interesting people, but who drive very boring cars. Yes, Altima, Camry, and Passat drivers, I’m talking to you. The Mazda 6 is what you should be driving here in 2014.

Why? Here are four reasons…

1. It’s really really good-looking
2. It’s extremely fuel efficient (up to 40 mpg!)
3. It’s the most fun to drive car in the segment
4. It’s really really REALLY good-looking.

But there’s more to it than just its extremely handsome and aerodynamic body. The interior has a classy design that would look at home in an Audi and has tons of available tech, including a Euro-style center control knob for infotainment. It’s quiet, has seriously comfortable seats, and a huge trunk. And as a Mazda, it can steer and stop with European-style panache—seriously, Mazda is good at making its cars fun to drive, which sound like a cliché but in this case, rings true.

Every now and then, a car comes along that is so clearly a cut above the competition that it redefines what we expect of the class itself, so before you head off to the Honda or Hyundai store looking for a good sedan, check out the sexy Mazda 6 first.
