At the 2014 Winter Olympics (February 7-23) and Paralympics (March 7-16) at Sochi, Russia, Team USA represents our country not just by being the best in their athletic field, but by being as diverse as the American people.

To honor them and to promote the peaceful ideas of teamwork, as well as the similarities we all share, and the differences that make us unique, the U.S. Department of State has produced a one-minute video, “We Are All Athletes,” showcasing what makes Team USA, and the country they represent, true winners.

“We Are All Athletes” highlights U.S. Olympians, Paralympians, and recreational athletes of many different backgrounds, including gender, race and ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and abilities.

In-language versions in Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Chinese can be viewed at: http://goo.gl/1ydKmF.
