Charlie Rogers, a lesbian who was found guilty after she pleaded no contest to claims that she faked a hate crime, was sentenced to a week in jail, according to the Huffington Post.

The Lincoln Journal-Star reports that the former University of Nebraska basketball star will also serve a two- years on probation and be required to undergo a psychological evaluation and complete 250 hours of community hours for lying to investigators in July 2012.

The judge in the case, Gale Pokorny, called Rogers’ claims an “incredible and outrageous lie” and a “disservice” to the LGBT community, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

Rogers had claimed that in July of last year she was attacked in her home by three men whom she said bound her with zip ties, carved homophobic slurs into her skin and lit a fire in her living room. Ryan Dixon
