She was on RuPaul’s Drag Race and won Celebrity Big Brother UK. Now, she’s going a step further in the reality television scene — by making one of her own.
Courtney Act, also known as Shane Jenek when out of drag, announced plans for a reality show about the dating life of bisexuals, known as “The Bi Life.”
“As if this summer hasn’t been hot enough, we decided to crank it up another notch with The Bi Life on E! It’s high time there was a dating show for the large number of young people today, like me, who are attracted to more than one gender,” Act wrote on Twitter.
As if this summer hasn’t been hot enough, @EOnlineUK decided to crank it up another notch with #TheBiLife, a brand new British Bisexual+ dating show hosted by yours truly! 💗💜💙 Coming this October on E! pic.twitter.com/GdUr7lHwF1— Courtney Act (@courtneyact) August 21, 2018
The series will premiere on E! In October, according to Act. The contestants will be British, yet the show will be filed in Barcelona, Spain.
“In 2018 we know that sexuality is fluid and sharing the stories and experiences, the laughter and the love making, of young bi people is so important,” Act told E! News. “So get ready to see the true stories of bisexual singles, who are the largest part of the LGBTQ+ community, but the least known.”
