Some felines are more reserved, others are curious…and then there is Cassandra (ID 595050)! Cassandra is in one of the community cat rooms at the Humane Society and she is the first one to greet you when you walk in the room. She’ll put her front paws on you for attention and she doesn’t mind being held. This beauty is good with other cats and well-mannered dogs. Sadly six year old Cassandra was given up because her family lost their home and had nowhere to live with her. While she might be a bit shy in her new home at first, once she gets to know you she will be your best friend. Can she go home with you?
It may be August, but sweet July (ID 599456) wants to go home with you today. This sweetie is two years old, 28 pounds and came to the HSBC from an overcrowded shelter in Puerto Rico where people don’t often go to adopt. While her past is a bit of a mystery, after spending some time with her, we cannot express how much we love this goofy, affectionate dog!
July wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and cuddle with you. When we tried to take her photo, she would not get out of the photographer's lap! She clearly loves to give kisses and really just wants a friend she can hang out with. Could you be her new BFF?
The adoption fee for dogs over 6 months is $100 and felines over 6 months are $30, under 6 months are $60.
