Update: Cameron Kasky and David Hogg will not be going to prom together. Hogg's mother Rebecca Boldrick told TMZ he already had a date, and Kasky's father Jeff Kasky said "Cameron and David love each other very much, as do the 20 or so other kids that are part of their group, but not in a romantic type of way."
Parkland survivors Cameron Kasky and David Hogg announced with a photo that they would be going to prom together.
Kasky tweeted a picture of the pair with the caption “Prom 2018.” Since first being shared, the image received over 28,000 likes and 1,600 retweets.
In that time, many voiced their support for the duo and their announcement on Twitter.
“Cutest people in the whole wide world,” fellow Parkland activist Jaclyn Corbin tweeted.

“@Emma4Change already did 🙂,” Hogg wrote in response, mentioning bisexual parkland activist Emma Gonzalez.
Many just took the chance to say their hopes for each activist.
“Look, I want what Cameron wants for himself, but I also hope he moves to New York and falls in love with Danny from Lady Bird,” Sam Greisman, the son of actress Sally Fields, tweeted at the pair.
