ARTOPIA, the LGBT artistic extravaganza is back with a new date following an Irma reschedule and will now be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 7 to 10 p.m.

The event will be held at The Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, and proceeds will benefit the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, The Stonewall National Museum & Archives, Island City Stage and OUTshine Film Festival, as well as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the GLBX Arts Fund.

“The GLBX is excited to see ARTOPIA grow and evolve with the inclusion of internationally recognized artists and entertainers,” said Andy Perrott, event chair for ARTOPIA. “Now in its fourth year, ARTOPIA is enjoying a surge of popularity for its daring approach and appeal to anyone who connects with art in its purest form.”

Attendees can expect a diverse array of artistic expression spanning from music, film, fashion, painting, sculpture and everything in between.

Chart-topping pop singer Wrabel will be headlining the main stage. The singer specializes in music that turns small movements into songs with big impacts and has just released “The Village,” a song that has been met with critical acclaim for its powerful message celebrating LGBTQ rights.

Artistic icon Susanne Bartsch will also share her “Art-A-Porter” spectacle — a living art presentation in which emerging fashion designers pose as models to their own modern designs. Each designer will be their own designer, dresser and makeup artist and will showcase their designs alongside motion and music based on the character of each individual artist.

Throughout the event, guests will also enjoy short film presentations, choral performances by the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, a body painting exhibit by Amber LaValle, and varied art pieces and performances by artists Lee Dahlberg, David Lorenzo, Lori Pratico and Romero Britto.

All of the art and performances can be enjoyed while drinking cocktails from Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Barefoot Wine. And foodies will rejoice the large selection of bites from Season’s 52, Exquisite Catering, Sea Watch, Pelican Grand Beach Resort, Sea $ Olive, Red Chair Catering and Grateful Palate Catering & Events.

General admission tickets are $100 and include access to open bars and food stations. VIP tickets cost $150 and include a pre-event champagne reception, performer and artist meet-and-greets, exclusive meal and drink offerings and complimentary valet parking.

Tickets and more information are available at www.GLBX.org.
