The Gay and Lesbian Lawyers Network (GLLN) will hold its annual gala on Saturday, April 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Flagship in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets are $125.
The organization – a voluntary Broward County Bar Association – is described by its communications director as primarily a group for networking where members meet both socially and professionally, and host a luncheon event the first Thursday of every month.
Eric L. Lundt says proceeds from the popular event will benefit two well-known South Florida nonprofits – Latinos Salud and The Pet Project.
“It’s our signature event and the sole purpose is to raise funds for charitable organizations geared toward the LGBTQ community,” Lundt said.
At the gala, guests will be treated to an open bar and unlimited hors d’oeuvres.
A limited number of reserved VIP tables are available for $1,000, which includes five tickets to the gala, two bottles of champagne, and recognition at the event. A lower level VIP package is also available for $500, which includes two tickets and recognition.
The event is business casual. The Flagship is located at 221 SW 3rd Ave.
