The World AIDS Museum & Educational Center hosted a Poz Millennials Symposium on Sunday, March 12 at their Wilton Manors location. Attending the event was Kevin Sessums, past executive editor of Interview Magazine and past contributing editor to Vanity Fair.
“The poz millennial event was a very interesting conversation between ‘legends’ and young people. Kevin Sessums and Dino Georgio (founder of SunServe and past President of the New York City Gay and Lesbian Community Center) focused on activism during the first 30 years of the AIDS crisis,” said Hugh Beswick, CEO of the World AIDS Museum. “Young people discussed activism today. Several of the young speakers also brought their families. The latter discussed what it is like to deal with sexual/gender choices of siblings and children.”
