GLAAD announced the nominees for its 30th Annual Media Awards on Friday.

“This year’s nominees are changing the game by showcasing diverse races, genders, religions, ages, geographies, and genres in ways that challenge misconceptions and inspire LGBTQ acceptance, “ GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement.
The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives.

The 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles Thursday, March 28, followed by a second ceremony at the Hilton Midtown in New York on Saturday, May 4.
