This might be a great close-up of my face, but I’m 17 pounds of love! My name is Jpeg (ID 594263) and I’m a seven year young, front declawed, long-haired fellow who was given up because the landlord said I had to go. I really don’t understand, I never bothered him. I’m very friendly and mellow and love to be pet. I get along with other pets and really hope a big cat lover will give me a home. Could it be you?

SFGN Harry

If you’re looking for a sweet dog with a gentle soul, then I might be for you. My name is Harry (ID 594135) and I’m a two year old fellow who came from a shelter where not many people go to adopt, so I’m hoping my luck will change at the HSBC. I'm looking for a family who will spend some quality, positive time with me...could it be you? I might be a little timid until I get to know you, but am very sweet and gentle. Please don't pass me by just because I grew up. I want my own family to love...could it be you? Thanks to Dolly's Dream my adoption fee is sponsored and I get to go home with the goodies I will need to settle into my new home. Please stop by and meet me and all the other pets waiting for a second chance.

The adoption fee for dogs over 6 months is $100 and felines over 6 months are $30. When you adopt from the Humane Society of Broward County the dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive preliminary vaccinations, cats are feline leukemia tested, and dogs over 7 months are tested for heartworm. They also receive a flea/tick preventative, a 10-day limited health care plan from VCA Animal Hospitals, 30 days of Trupanion Pet Insurance and a bag of Purina ONE pet food. The HSBC opens daily at 10:30 and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95. For more details call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. To see who else is looking for a home visit www.humanebroward.com
