(Edge) After reports of rumors that Lady Gaga is pregnant, the pop star and Oscar winner took to Twitter to confirm the news — sorta.

"Rumors I'm pregnant?" she wrote, adding, "Yeah, I'm pregnant with #LG6.

LG6 is Twitter speak for Lady Gaga six, or Mother Monster's sixth album, which is likely due out sometime this year.

Gaga's tweet went viral, earning over 250,000 likes.

Her new album will follow up her 2016 effort, "Joanne." Of course, she contributed to the "A Star is Born" soundtrack with "Shallow," her duet with costar/director Bradley Cooper, recently reaching No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100.

Rumors recently started that Gaga is pregnant after she split with her fiance Christian Carino, who was also her manager, and fans speculated she was secretly seeing Cooper, especially after the duo's steamy performance at the Academy Awards last month. She addressed the relationship rumors on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after she won the Oscar for Best Original Song.

"First of all... social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it's done to pop culture is abysmal," Gaga told Kimmel. "People saw love and, guess what, that's what we wanted to you to see. This is a love song."
