When the situation calls for it, there’s no reason to turn down a gig. It looks like that’s Ian Ziering’s motto.
The former 90’s teen heartthrob and “Beverly Hills 90210” star has signed a deal to be a celebrity guest at Chippendales, a world-famous male revue show in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.
Chippendales, an iconic Las Vegas all-male club famously known for its dancers wearing a bow tie and shirt cuffs on an otherwise bare torso.
Ziering, 49, will be stripping on stage through the month of June. The actor is expecting his second child with his wife Erin Ludwig in May.
He’s hardly the first celebrity to resort to post-fame stripping to make some cash. Others include footsteps of former "Blossom" star Joey Lawrence and 98 Degrees musician Jeff Timmons.
Ziering will be joining Jaymes Vaughan, the buffed gay Chippendales dancer and “Amazing Race” Season 21 runner up.
“Yup, hardest part of being a Chippendale: having to look like the photoshopped version of me. That damn guy,” Vaughan said in a previous interview. Sergio N. Candido
