*Love’s Labor’s Lost by William Shakespeare

This play can be seen at Studio One through July 21.  This play is about The King of Navarre and his three companions swear an oath to renounce all thought of women for a period of three years for the sake of study. Their resolve is immediately challenged by the arrival of the Princess of France and her three lovely companions. Of course, its love at first sight for all concerned awkwardly masked by the gentlemen's highly entertaining but clumsy efforts to disguise their true feelings. Visit BrowardCenter.org

Baby GirL centers on Ashley, described as a spirited daydreamer, who is alienated by her adoptive family when she comes out as a lesbian.  Ashley then embarks on a journey to find love and a place to call home. Jesus Christ Superstar

The dynamic rock musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice is a musical interpretation of the final days of Jesus Christ that is not so much a story about religion as it is about the emergence of a charismatic rebel who surfaces among an oppressed people to pacifistically challenge the moral state of existing affairs. The Fantasticks

The Fantasticks is the world’s longest running musical and is about captivating love story about a boy, a girl, two fathers and a wall, the narrator, El Gallo, creates a world of moonlight and magic, then pain and disillusionment, until the boy and girl find their way back to each other. *Short Eyes

Short Eyes play can be seen at the Carnival Studio Theatre on Thursday, July 12 at 830pm and is about a term prisoners use to brand a child molester, reveals the racial, sexual and dangerously seditious personal politics wielded by an explosive group of inmates at an unnamed house of detention in New York City. The Donkey Show
